Disagree

Okay, Bill can't post all of them at Bill's blog, because there are too much variation of smilies and emoticons. So you should see the advanced way below.

Advanced Way

Make your own emoticon template in Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac). Download Bill's emoticon template at here. The template content will look like this:

.......

;)

:D (Big Grin)
[img]http://www.coolmsn.com/data/media/269/Emotions_Animated_7.gif[/img]

.......

So, the move is:
1. Open the template with Notepad or TextEdit
2. Copy-paste the [img]http://www.coolmsn.com/data/media/269/Emotions_Animated_7.gif[/img] for :D-like smily into your Forum Post Form.
3. Post your post.
4. See your own smily embedded in your post. Quite fun right?

You can create your own label for your own chosen emoticon. Find funny emoticon from Google Image Search. Don't forget to copy the chosen image address and embed the address with [img][/img] tag.

Usually Forum is using BBCode and it's compatible with this kind of tag [img]. But not all forum is using BBCode so try to adapt with your forum style.

Keep in mind that this is just a helper procedure, not an application.

In case some of your emoticons is hard to be seen in your Forum, upload the image in some local Image Hosting first, then linked from them. Like if your Forum is an US-local Forum, so upload the image in US Image Hosting. If your Forum is an Indonesian-local Forum, upload the image in Indonesian Image Hosting.

Bill is also looking for more approaches and alternatives. Thank you for seeing this blog.

Have fun!
